One of the most beautiful hiking routes in Turkey: Gelidonya!

It was built by the French in 1934 and started to be used in 1936. With a length of 237 meters, it is the longest lighthouse in Turkey. It is also located within 3 kilometers of the sea. Between April and June is the ideal time to go out on Gelidonya Lighthouse.

The transportation route to Gelidonya Lighthouse is via Karaöz Neighborhood on the Lycian road. 5 km of this 7 km long road is completed by vehicle and 2 km of the pathway is completed on foot.
